Motivational Interviewing

Developed by William Miller in 1983, this is a form of therapy which focuses on stages of change.  It emphasizes that most people are ambivalent about making life changes and that the ultimate driving force must come from the client.

Doppel uses many of the tools and methods of Motivational Interviewing to help you.  These have proven successful in helping people lose weight, quit tobacco, end substance abuse, or engage more fully in health issues (such as diabetes management).
